Nickel alloy threaded flanges contain mostly nickel (50–60%) along with alloying additions like chromium molybdenum iron and copper that further improve corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. Nickel alloy threaded flanges have good mechanical properties such as tensile strength of 750 MPa, yield strength of approximately 250 MPa, and are resistant to corrosion as well as exhibit good ductility and toughness at elevated temperatures. Physically, they are non-magnetic, oxidization-resistant, and retain strength at temperatures in excess of 1000°C. They are durable, resistant to chemicals, and easy to install, and thus are perfectly suited for chemical, petrochemical, and marine environments.
